In order to improve the technical and economic efficiency of blasting operations for smoothwall blasting, including the process of bench levelling, JSC NITRO SIBIR, for the first time in Russia, has developed a technology for mechanized smoothwall blasting, which makes it possible to abandon expensive and time-consuming garland charges for smoothwall blasting.

The MSZ-3 vehicle is designed to transport non-explosive components of a waterproof emulsion explosive (EE):
- "Sibirit" type emulsions (UN number 3375, class 5.1 according to ADR);
- gas generating additive (GGD);
- solution of water irrigation (VO);
GGD and VO are not dangerous goods according to ADR classification), mixing of the indicated components and manufacturing of "Sibirit®" type explosive explosives in the process of loading contour wells, as well as small-diameter wells in open-cast mining in all climatic conditions at an ambient temperature from -50°С to +45°С.

The machine is based on four-axle chassis of category N3 or N3G that meets the requirements of ADR with a load capacity of at least 6 tons: MAZ 4x2, KAMAZ 4x2 and 4x4, Scania 4x2, 4x4, MAN 4x2, 4x4 and others.

Mixing-charging machine MSZ-20UT (Universal), type MEMU according to ADR classification according to ADR EU 2015, complies with the requirements of the "technical regulation on the safety of wheeled vehicles of the Customs Union", is intended for the transportation of components and the manufacture of them in the process of loading industrial explosives of the following types:
- emulsion explosive (EE), class 1.5D, UN No. 0332 according to ADR;
- granular explosive type ANFO, class 1.5D, UN No. 0331 according to ADR;
- mixed explosive, class 1.5D, UN No. 0332 according to ADR.

Mixing-charging machine MSZ-20UT, depending on the operating conditions, is manufactured in climatic modification "U" (temperate climate, ambient temperature from -40°C to +40°C), "T" (tropical dry and humid climate, ambient temperature environment from -10°C to +45°C) according to GOST 15150-69.

The machine is based on an ADR-compliant four-axle chassis of category N3G, MAN TGS 41.400 8x8, or a similar chassis.

Mixer-charging machine MSZ-20UT can also be based on the chassis category N3, N3G: MAN TGS 41, 8x4, 8x6, or similar chassis.

To charge granular explosives, the machine is equipped with a rotary mixing screw, which allows charging wells at a considerable distance on the side and behind the machine.

The service life of the machine is at least ten years.

Unit resource (without chassis) - 120 thousand tons before overhaul, subject to timely maintenance in accordance with the operation manual. Further extension of the service life is possible after the commission examines the unit and obtains an industrial safety expert opinion indicating the further service life.

Mixing-charging machine MSZ-20 is designed for transportation of non-explosive components of a water-resistant emulsion explosive (EE) of the Sibirit type emulsion and a gas-generating additive, as well as a water spray solution and the manufacture of EE by mixing them in the process of loading wells in open-cast mining.

The total weight of the transported components is 16 tons.

The component tank block is mounted on the weighing system.

The machine can be manufactured using both three-axle (6x3 or 6x6) and four-axle (8x4) chassis HUNT, BELAZ, MAZ, KAMAZ, MAN, Ural-Iveco, or Scania.

The diameter of the charged wells is not less than 75 mm. Working depth up to 65 m.

The process of manufacturing explosives and loading wells is automated. The machine has redundant manual control.

In order to reduce the consequences of emergency situations, the emulsion tank of the machine has melting hatches, bursting discs, and an independent fire extinguishing system. The automatic control system does not allow the technological process parameters to go beyond the permissible limits.

Mixing-charging vehicle MSZ-17Gr (MEMU according to ADR classification) is designed for transportation of components of the simplest granular explosives (ammonium nitrate, class 5.1, UN number 1942 according to ADR, and petroleum products) and the manufacture of simple granular explosives (BB) during the loading process of wells ), as well as transportation and loading of wells with factory-prepared granulated explosives, class 1.5D, UN number 0331 according to ADR (approved for use by Rostekhnadzor for mechanized loading).

Mixing-charging machine MSZ-14SM is designed for transportation of non-explosive components of a water-resistant emulsion explosive of the heavy ANFO type: emulsions (UN number 3375, class 5.1 according to ADR), gas generating additive (GGD1), gas generating additive (GGD2), water spray solution (VO), (GGD and VO according to the ADR classification are not dangerous goods), granular (porous) ammonium nitrate (AN), oil product (NP), mixing these components and making heavy ANFO-type explosives, in the process of loading wells in open-cast mining.

The MSZ-14SM vehicle complies with the climatic modification "U" (for delivery to regions and countries with a temperate climate). It is designed for operation at ambient temperatures from minus 40ºС to plus 40ºС, at relative air humidity up to 75% at a temperature of plus 15ºС.

HUNT 8051 T0X 6x6 ADR EXIII or similar chassis is offered as a chassis. The machine is equipped in accordance with the requirements of ADR for vehicles of the MEMU type.
