Sibirit-K

"Sibirit-K" - a garland contour blasting charge, a product containing an emulsion explosive of group 1 of a special class (C) (according to the conditions of use), intended for blasting on the earth's surface as a borehole charge for smoothwall blasting, processing of bench levelling, pits, slopes, etc., to obtain recesses (surfaces) of strictly defined outlines without disturbing the preserved array by the action of an explosion of loosening charges.

Charges "Sibirit-K" can be used to charge wells and holes of any degree of water cut, including the use in rocks and ores containing sulfides, if the pyrite content in them does not exceed 30% and the acidity index (pH) of the well water is not lower than 4.0.

Temperature conditions of use (atmospheric air temperature) - minus 50°С - plus 50°С.

Water resistance - not less than 30 days.

The charge "Sibirit-K" is a product of cylindrical sections (cartridges) filled with emulsion explosives in the form of a garland. The garland has a load-carrying cord stretched inside it for the entire length.

For stable initiation of the Sibirit-K charge, it is necessary to attach a detonating cord (DSh) with a total weight of at least 12.0 g/r.m. to the outer side of the cartridges in a garland.

The Sibirit-K charge is produced in the form of a garland with a diameter of cartridges (garland links) of 32, 45, and 55 mm and a constant total mass of the charge in the garland equal to 24 ± 0.5 kg for all diameters:
- cartridge diameter 32 mm, garland length 27.5 ± 1.9 m;
- cartridge diameter 45 mm, garland length 13.7 ± 1.1 m;
- cartridge diameter 55 mm, garland length 9.0 ± 0.6 m.
